ATW Hatfield 5

The race starts at The Forum, on the Herts University Campus, before heading along the pavements of college lane. After two sweeping bends, you are on The Alban Way, one of the most popular running routes in Hatfield and St Albans. You will turn onto Wilkins Green Lane, and follow it to the end where you will have only completed 3 metres of climbing! After crossing the Alban Way you'll join Smallford Lane and another sweeping corner will take you onto Sleapcross Gardens, before meandering onto the super-flat and straight A414 footpath. Taking the footpath onto Comet Way, you'll head back to the final mile, along the Alban Way and back into race HQ, having finished one of the fastest 5 mile courses in the UK!
