X-WATERS Montenegro

X-WATERS Montenegro 2026 is the round of the X-WATERS World Championship 2026. It's not only point-to-point, it's town-to-town! Perast to Risan (4,5k); Risan to Perast to Risan (7k). Kotor Bay‑ is the southernmost fjord of Europe. It offers quite warm, and what is important, calm water and stunning picturesque views‑ both from the water and from the surrounding mountains. Distances of 7 and 4.5 km go between two rival islands: St. George with the Benedictine abbey, and “Gospa od Škrpjela” (Our Lady of the Rocks) - the only man-made Adriatic island. This island was built by the inhabitants of the city of Perast as opposed to the domination of neighboring Kotor, from the shipwrecks and stones delivered by passing by vessels as a "tax". The Church of the Mother of God on the island is‑ one of the main attractions of the bay.
