Wimbleball Lake Triathlon

We’re bringing triathlon back to Wimbleball Lake, a superb venue that previously hosted Ironman 70.3 for ten years. The race begins with a swim in the lake — a rare opportunity, as swimming here is usually not permitted. Athletes then head out onto the quiet but challenging local roads for either one lap (Standard) or two laps (70.3) of the bike course. The event concludes with one or two laps of a stunning 10K run route, which, like the bike, features a few testing climbs along the way.
