Vasaloppet Ultravasan

The ultimate running challenge stretches from Sälen to Mora, offering runners a lifetime experience along the legendary Vasaloppet route. The course passes through forests, marshes and classic Swedish countryside. While much of the terrain is gently runnable, sections of narrow trails, prepared tracks and gravel roads add variety and challenge throughout the journey. Ultravasan 90 is Scandinavia’s largest ultra trail race and follows the entire historic Vasaloppet route. Starting as early as 05.00 in Berga by, Sälen, runners experience a magical dawn departure and meet the sunrise across the marshes near Smågan before continuing past iconic checkpoints on the way to the finish in Mora. It is a true test of endurance, combining natural beauty with the spirit and history of this legendary course. Ultravasan 90 is part of a full race weekend. In addition to the 90 km distance, runners can also take on Ultravasan 45 and Trailvasan 30, both starting in Oxberg. The weekend begins on Friday with Trailvasan 10 in Mora, and continues on Saturday with Ultravasan 90, Ultravasan 45, Trailvasan 30 and a relay race, offering several ways to experience the Vasaloppet feel.
