Ultra X Wales

Nestled in the hills of the Brecon Beacons, Ultra X Wales 2026 is an adventure that exlores the Black Mountains to the East of the National Park, starting just north of Abergavenny in July each year. This new event offer perfect running trails for experienced and first-time trail runners who wish to test themselves across a mix of runnable and technical trail, with beautiful vistas, across one of 5 distances - 110k single stage, 110k multi stage, 60k, 50k, & 25k. There are checkpoints stationed approximately 10km apart where competitors can access water, snacks, shelter, and if necessary, medical support. Ultra X Wales events are UTMB index races in the 100K, 50K and 20K categories respectively.
