Translantau by UTMB

With 80% of the course on trails and covering two country parks, participants get to push their limits as their eyes feast on the landscape of undulating hills and long coastline, untouched by the urbanization of Hong Kong. The TransLantau event starts and ends in Mui Wo where several hotels are right on the Silvermine beach. It will be possible to collect your race pack on the Friday afternoon, or on the Saturday morning (only for overseas participants). If you decide to stay on Hong Kong side, you can reach Mui Wo by ferry from Central, pier number 6 (35min ride with the fast ferry or 55min with the slow ferry) or you can take the bus 3M from Tung Chung or by taxi (30min ride, ~HKD150/trip). ​ The Hong Kong airport is located on Lantau Island, 30-min blue taxi ride to Mui Wo, the village of the event venue.
