Bringing first-time ultra runners and experienced athletes to Morocco's stunning Atlas Mountains, The Atlas Hope Ultra is a unique all-inclusive 7-day event, combining a breathtaking 60K ultramarathon, within a special one-week community impact event, designed to uplift earthquake-affected villages. This event combines the thrill of Ultra trail running with meaningful community support, providing affected locals with jobs for the week, as well as global awareness through media coverage. Arrive at the Dar Bajdi, nestled luxuriously in the foothills of The Atlas Mountains, where you'll be greeted warmly by fellow runners and the Atlas Hope team. Join us as we kick off our journey with a private welcome event and a well-earned dinner. After dedicating months to training, preparation, and fundraising, this moment marks a special opportunity to finally unite with us and your teammates in person. Day 2: Community Visit & Impact Day Friday, October 2nd, 2026. After breakfast, we'll collectively drive up into the Atlas mountains, visiting the communities and foundation you've supported leading up to the event. During this immersive experience, you'll witness the tangible impact of your fundraising efforts firsthand, fostering meaningful connections with community members that will endure long after the event. Engage with these communities, and offer a helping hand in field work, adding yet another meaningful dimension to your Atlas Hope experience. Day 3: Race day Saturday, October 3rd, 2026. Get ready for an early start on Race Day! We'll transport all runners to the starting line in Amizmiz. The Ultra course spans 60km through the stunning High Atlas Mountains, culminating at our finish line back in Amizmiz. Embrace the challenge you've trained hard for, and take in the beauty & awe of the Atlas, knowing you're contributing to something larger than yourself. Behind the scenes, our dedicated support crew are working tirelessly to ensure you have the best possible experience. As a runner, your partner, family members, and friends are welcome to join the support team. Day 4: Local Children's Race & Award's Ceremony Sunday, October 4th, 2026. Kick off the final day with the annual Amizmiz Kids’ Race—where local children sprint, cheer, and celebrate their community’s spirit. All finishers receive medals, and top runners earn prizes, feeding directly into our year‑round sports development program. Then, we honour both the youngest competitors and our Atlas Hope ultra‑finishers with an awards ceremony—capping off four days of endurance, impact, and connection.
