The Run for Autism Half Marathon Ayia Napa began in 2022, inspired by a love of running and a commitment to supporting those affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder. In just a few years, it has grown into Cyprus’s fastest-growing race, known for its incredible atmosphere, strong community spirit, and positive energy. The 2026 event - our biggest yet - also saw inspiring support from national and local leaders, including the President of the Republic of Cyprus, helping raise awareness and visibility for autism across the country. Uniquely in Cyprus, 100% of proceeds support Autism Support Famagusta and the Smile Project in Sotira, a specialized day centre for young adults on the spectrum. Beyond fundraising, the event promotes inclusion, compassion, and understanding. With a half marathon, 10km, 5km, and children’s races, runners of all ages and abilities can be part of something truly meaningful. Your participation makes a real difference.
