Marathon Deutsche Weinstraße

Named as German-wine-road-marathon running through the Palatinate region is one of the most scenic road races in Germany. distancesParticipants can choose between a marathon distance and a half-marathon. There is also an option for couples who can register together for a Duo-Marathon.Start and finish timeAll runs start at 10:00. Half-marathon’s finish line closes at 13:00 and the marathon’s and duo-marathon’s finish line close at 15:30courseThe race starts at the beginning of the German-wine-road in village of Bockenheim. It then runs along the vineyards and through beautiful and romantic wine villages up to a giant wine barrel which is a landmark serving as a turning-point in the spa town Bad Dürkheim.Refreshment points on the course are located every 5 km.children and youthChildren can participate in a 1000m run and youth can participate in a mile run.
