Its mission is to prevent physical inactivity and disengagement among teenagers, young families, and retirees by bringing together active-living leaders and partners within local communities. All BougeBouge initiatives are based on the principle of self-determined motivation, with a focus on education, autonomy, building a sense of competence, and fostering social connection.
