Lappeenranta Half

Lappeenranta Half will take place at Harbour Square (Satamatori) in the centre of Lappeenranta. The event offers runners the chance to experience the scenery of Lake Saimaa while taking part in a late-summer running event on a flat and fast coastal route. Participants can choose between two distances: 10 kilometres or a half marathon of 21.1 kilometres. The course passes through waterfront areas of the city, including the scenic surroundings of Pikisaari and Myllysaari, offering views of the lake and harbour environment. The event is suitable for runners aiming for a personal best as well as those looking for a more relaxed running experience. Lappeenranta Half is organized by two long-established local sports clubs, Lappeen Riento and Lappeenrannan Urheilu-Miehet (LUM), both of which have more than 100 years of history.
