Great Eastern Run

The route for this year's Great Eastern Run has been enhanced based on feedback from runners and essential organizing partners. Not only does this route provide spectators with better viewpoints, but it also offers runners a chance to beat their past personal records, guaranteeing a 100% road/tarmac-based route. Unique features of the course include a segment through the city centre and a pass through the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral, which was included in the race course for the first time in 2023.
