GMS Queen City Marathon

Since its inaugural running in 2001, the Queen City Marathon has established itself as Saskatchewan’s premiere running and walking event and a well-respected Canadian marathon. The first Queen City Marathon was an idea born from the realization that Regina was ready for a national-calibre, community-driven event that would challenge local and international runners and walkers and showcase the beauty of Regina to participants from all across Saskatchewan, North America and around the world.The mission of this event is to be the number one marathon event in Saskatchewan. Our goals are provide a positive, safe and memorable experience for each and every one of our stakeholders. To ensure organizational and financial viability and provide a race for every pace. Also to build relationships in our community through partnerships and foster fitness. To give back through charities and to become the premier event in Regina.The Saskatchewan Credit Unions Queen City Marathon is an Athletics Canada certified course and can be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
