Finlandia Marathon

Finlandia Marathon is a sports event for everyone, held in Jyväskylä. The course will follow the flat and fast ‘Rantaraitti’, a lakeside route voted Finland’s most beautiful. Lutakonaukio and Jyväskylä Pavilion will serve as competition centre. The events are Marathon Relay (4 x 3,5 km), Finlandia Vitonen (5 km), 10K Evening Run (10 km), Full Marathon (42.2 km) and Half Marathon (21.1 km). The flat and beautiful Rantaraitti lakefront route is ideal for those taking part in their first full marathon. A fast route with few sharp turns, it offers an opportunity to improve your record if you have run a full marathon previously. The start times and common route of the full and half marathons ensure that there will be no lack of company and pacemakers along the route
