About the race
The Dublin Marathon is Ireland's premier long-distance running event, with over 22,500 participants taking on the course through the Irish capital. Starting and finishing near Merrion Square, the route passes Phoenix Park, Trinity College, and St. Patrick's Cathedral. It has been held on the last Monday in October since 1980.
