District 19 Race Series

District 19 returns for year seven with a new signal. Born from the belief that running can be a form of activism, District 19 was created as a way to reclaim space, build community, and move with purpose. In a time filled with noise, uncertainty, and division, we turn to movement once again as our voice. This October, every mile becomes a signal and every runner becomes part of something bigger. _________________ District 19 is a run crew-led race experience created by District Running Collective in Washington, DC. Featuring 5K, 19K, and 19 Mile distances, the event was built to challenge traditional race culture and create a more community-centered experience rooted in storytelling, culture, and the city itself. What started as a response to uncertain times has grown into one of the country’s most culturally significant crew-led races, bringing together runners from across the nation to celebrate movement, community, and the future of running culture.
