Delaware Marathon, Relay & Half Marathon

The Delaware Marathon Running Festival is one of the state’s oldest road marathon event — the Trail Triple Crown Race is a few years older — and takes runners on an out-and-back loop course that starts and finishes along the city’s historic riverfront. The Delaware Marathon™ and Delaware Half Marathon™ will start together from Tubman Garrett Riverfront Park on the historic Wilmington, Delaware Riverfront; the relay marathons shortly thereafter. This small waterfront park is located just off Martin Luther King Boulevard in downtown Wilmington at the intersection of South Market Street (Rte 13) and Rosa Parks Drive (Water Street). The park is located between the AMTRAK Station and the Riverfront Market. There is plenty of free parking nearby and easy access to and from Interstate I-95 (Exit 6).
