Cobb County 5K benefiting Make a Wish Georgia

Every year, Cobb County hosts the Make-A-Wish 5K, a 5-kilometer run the benefits of which are donated to Make-A-Wish® Georgia to grant wishes for Cobb County children with critical illnesses. This year, there are many children in Cobb County waiting to have his or her wish granted. It is our hope to grant more wishes and we know that it takes a community to make this happen. The Make-A-Wish 5K is a Peachtree Road Race qualifying event. This will be the first year that we are incorporating a 1K race for children 4-11 years of age. Bring them on out and let them burn off some energy. Race Schedule is as follows: Participants assemble on the Marietta Square, pre-race festivities begins at 7:15 a.m. Walk-up registration begins at 6:30 a.m., ending at 7:30 a.m. Wheelchair participants will begin at 7:40 a.m. The 1K race will begin at 7:45 a.m. 5K race begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. * Schedule is subject to change* Join us and let's run for a great cause!
