Challenge Wanaka Half 2026

Challenge Wanaka celebrates its 20th edition in 2026. This iconic middle-distance triathlon takes place against the stunning backdrop of Lake Wanaka and the Southern Alps. Athletes swim in the crystal-clear waters of Lake Wanaka, cycle through the rolling countryside of Central Otago, and run along the scenic Clutha River trails. The event also hosts the 2026 New Zealand Middle Distance Triathlon Championship.
